Since discovering my love for shoes, I’ve always had a soft spot for heels. It’s not the most practical obsession sometimes because I tend to only go for those 5 inches or higher and we all know how those aren’t the greatest for walking or doing anything for that matter.
Maybe we do wisen up with age because these days, more flat shoes that I can actually walk around in are adding themselves to my collection and they’re not as bad as I pictured them to be. Some low-heels and flats can actually look pretty good; it all depends on how you pull them off. My mum’s words are echoing in my ears as I type that: “It’s never about the clothes but who wears them.”
These leather pair are my current faves simply because of how versatile they are — they look good for work, a night out or even on a weekend errand run.
I also got around to finally taking my new Coach Swagger bag out to see some sunshine this weekend and fell in love with it all the more. I am quite the fickle person so I was afraid I’d have changed my mind about how I feel after the initial novelty has worn off. Thankfully that isn’t the case.
After this weekend, shit is about to hit the fan with work and other things so I’m off to make the most out of my possibly last two days of frivolous play! The birthday month is soon the commence too — ah glorious August you’re finally here! — so it’s going to be an eventful month ahead.
Have a splendid weekend, my lovelies! Xx.
